State Director

I am thrilled to come on board to support people with I/DD and families in their advocacy as we work to promote the rights of people with I/DD and their inclusion in the community.  I am excited to work with Georgia chapters (link: chapter page) to contribute to the improvement of supports and services for individuals with disabilities.

I have over 15 years of experience in the disability community, including involvement and leadership at the Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD) at Georgia State University, People First, the local AAIDD chapter, the Crisis Intervention Team, and the Autism Advisory Council to the Department on Developmental Disabilities.

I am a proud mom of three amazing boys.  My middle son has autism and has been the muse for my career. His strong advocacy for inclusion keeps me on my toes, learning more about how to make our communities more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
